Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, with a overall score of 77.1 against 75.5. The Asus ROG Phone is a newer cellphone than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Asus ROG Phone features a little bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, a just a bit higher count of pixels in each inch of screen and a bit bigger display.
The Asus ROG Phone counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone features a bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro takes way better videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same (4K) video definition, the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro also counts with a larger camera aperture. The Asus ROG Phone has a bit longer battery performance than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because it has an 11% bigger battery capacity.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone 4 Pro. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
