The Asus ZenFone 8 is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, getting an 83 score against 75.5. Even though the Asus ZenFone 8 is somewhat thicker than the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, it's a bit lighter and incredibly newer. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ZenFone 8 has the older 11 version and Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Asus ZenFone 8 has a much better screen than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because it has a bit greater display density, a quite better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little bit bigger display. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro. They have 8 processing cores and 6 GB of RAM.

Asus ZenFone 4 Pro counts with a much better storage to store more games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3600mAh.

The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a way better camera than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot larger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality, a lot better video resolution and a much higher 64 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
