Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro's 75.5 general score. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s design has the same weight than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, but it is a little bit thicker. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and better performance.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has a bit better processor than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because although it has a quite worse pixel count per display inch, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has 64 GB more internal memory. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a very superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro captures a bit better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rates, the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
