The Huawei Mate 8 is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, with a general score of 77.4 against 75.5. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, Huawei Mate 8's construction is older, just a little thicker and a little bit heavier than the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro. Asus ZenFone 4 Pro counts with a little bit better display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
Asus ZenFone 4 Pro counts with a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because it has an 11% larger battery capacity. Asus ZenFone 4 Pro counts with a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Huawei Mate 8 costs more than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
