Galaxy M40 is much better than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, with an 85 score against 75.5. Galaxy M40's design is newer and a little bit lighter, but also a bit thicker than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a screen that's very similar to the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro one, although the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little bigger display and a little bit higher screen density. Asus ZenFone 4 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy M40 has a much better camera than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor shooting worse quality images, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a F1.7 aperture, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a camera with a way better 32 mega pixels resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 3% greater battery capacity.
