Comparison review
The Xperia XZ Premium is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, getting a general score of 79.8 against 75.5. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Xperia XZ Premium is an a little thicker and a bit heavier phone than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much sharper display than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has much more pixels per inch of screen and a way better 2160 x 3840px resolution.
Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has a little bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 4 Pro features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 4 Pro also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher 19 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger back camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 3600mAh battery size against 3230mAh.
