Comparison review
HTC U Ultra has a global score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4's 74.2 overall score. Although it's the best we compare here, we must note that it is also a little heavier and just a little thicker. The Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a bit better processing power than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has a higher number of cores.
The Asus ZenFone 4 has a slightly better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, although it has a bit worse pixel amount in each display inch, a quite smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. HTC U Ultra counts with as much memory capacity for apps and games as Asus ZenFone 4, they have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and the same internal storage capacity.
HTC U Ultra takes clearer pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video definition, a same resolution camera and a same size aperture, the HTC U Ultra also has a bigger sensor which gives a better photo and video quality. The Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone 4. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Asus ZenFone 4, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
