Comparison review
The LG Q8 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4, having a 77.2 score against 74.2. Even though the LG Q8 and the Asus ZenFone 4 were released with only a couple of months difference, the LG Q8 body is a little bit thicker but somewhat lighter than the Asus ZenFone 4. These phones use Android operating system, but LG Q8 has an older 7.0 Nougat version while Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Asus ZenFone 4 features a little bit better processing power than LG Q8, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has more processing cores. The LG Q8 has a bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a quite opaque display and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a greater screen pixel density.
Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone 4 features a bit superior battery performance than LG Q8, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
LG Q8 features a slightly better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG Q8 also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels.
