Moto G 5G has a score of 81.5, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 4's general score of 74.2. Moto G 5G's body is notably newer than Asus ZenFone 4's, but it is way thicker and way heavier. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Moto G 5G has the previous 10 version and Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a slightly better looking display than Moto G 5G, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better count of pixels in each inch of display. The Motorola Moto G 5G's processor is just as good as Asus ZenFone 4's CPU, both of them have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU.

Motorola Moto G 5G features a very superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
The Moto G 5G has a much better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Moto G 5G also has a much more mega pixels camera and a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
