The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4, with a global score of 76.1 against 74.2. Even being the best phone we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's body is just a little bit thicker and just a little heavier than Asus ZenFone 4. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has the previous 7.0 Nougat version and Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Asus ZenFone 4 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, the Asus ZenFone 4 also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels in each inch of display. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has a bit superior CPU than Asus ZenFone 4. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM amount.
The Asus ZenFone 4 features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 4 and the Galaxy J7 Max both have incredibly similar battery performance.
Asus ZenFone 4 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier camera aperture and a back camera with less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video definition.
