The Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than the Asus ZenFone 4, having an 85 score against 74.2. Samsung Galaxy M40's body is newer than the Asus ZenFone 4's, but it's a bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a processor that is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 4 one, and although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has 2 GB more RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Asus ZenFone 4 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a little bit smaller display, a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little lower pixel density.

The Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
