Samsung Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 4's general score of 74.2. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version and Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy S5 is a much older and a little thicker phone than the Asus ZenFone 4, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat lighter anyway.

Galaxy S5 features a little bit better performance than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has 4 less cores and 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy S5 counts with a much better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a higher pixels count per inch in the display.

Galaxy S5 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and a tinier back camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.

Asus ZenFone 4 features much more storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal memory. Asus ZenFone 4 has longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has an 18 percent greater battery size.
