Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 4, having a general score of 78.1 against 74.2. These devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S5 Plus has the previous 4.4.2 version while Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the Galaxy S5 Plus is notably older and just a little thicker than the Asus ZenFone 4, it's design is still somewhat lighter.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has less cores and 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a GPU. The Asus ZenFone 4 features better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an 18% more battery capacity.

Galaxy S5 Plus has a slightly better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality images and a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
