The Galaxy S7 Active is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone 4, having a global score of 75.8 against 74.2. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also older, notably thicker and somewhat heavier. Galaxy S7 Active counts with a bit sharper display than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a quite smaller screen and less bright display, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 4 has a much better memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has a higher number of cores.
Galaxy S7 Active features greater battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh. The Asus ZenFone 4 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a tinier aperture, they both have the same video resolution, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy S7 Active is also by far the cheapest one, making it a no doubt choice.
