Comparison review

Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone 4's 74.2 general score. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Xperia 5 III has the older 11 version and Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although Xperia 5 III is notably newer than the Asus ZenFone 4, it's just a little bit heavier and a little thicker.

Asus ZenFone 4 features a bit better screen than Xperia 5 III, although it has a little worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quite worse number of pixels per display inch and a little smaller display. Xperia 5 III features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Xperia 5 III counts with just a little better performance than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 III also has more RAM memory. The Xperia 5 III has a better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia 5 III also has a bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light environments, a much larger camera sensor taking way better quality videos and pictures and better 120 fps video frame rate.

The Sony Xperia 5 III features better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 36 percent bigger battery size.
