Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than Asus ZenFone 4, with a score of 82.2 against 74.2. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium body is newer than the Asus ZenFone 4's, but it's noticeably heavier and a lot thicker. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way better screen than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a brighter screen, a way greater pixels amount per inch in the display and a little larger screen.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality photographs.
Asus ZenFone 4 has a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus ZenFone 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone 4. If you want to save some money, you can get Asus ZenFone 4, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
