Comparison review
Xperia XZs has a global score of 77.2, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 4's 74.2 general score. Xperia XZs's design is a bit thicker but just a bit lighter than the Asus ZenFone 4, and both were released only a couple months apart. Asus ZenFone 4 features just a bit better screen than Xperia XZs, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920px, the Asus ZenFone 4 also counts with a quite bigger display.
Asus ZenFone 4 features a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZs, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone 4 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xperia XZs, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus ZenFone 4 also has more cores.
Asus ZenFone 4 features just a little better battery life than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh. Xperia XZs captures a lot better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZs also counts with a larger sensor capturing higher quality pictures, better 960 fps video frame rate and a much better 19 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus ZenFone 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone 4. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Asus ZenFone 4, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
