Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 4's global score of 74.2. Xperia Z5 Premium's construction is extremely older, just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier than the Asus ZenFone 4. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has an older 5.1 version while Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a little better processing power than Asus ZenFone 4, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a graphics processing unit. Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper screen than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a way better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and a lot better count of pixels per inch in the screen.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better camera than Asus ZenFone 4, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a way more MP camera in the back and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos.
The Asus ZenFone 4 has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia Z5 Premium features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has a 4% more battery size.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium costs more money than the Asus ZenFone 4, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
