Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 4, getting a 76 score against 74.2. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's body has the same thickness than Asus ZenFone 4, but it is a little bit heavier. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has 6.0 Marshmallow version while Asus ZenFone 4 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Asus ZenFone 4 features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Asus ZenFone 4 also counts with a bit higher pixel number per inch in the screen. The Asus ZenFone 4 has a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone 4 counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has greater battery life than Asus ZenFone 4, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. The Asus ZenFone 4 captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back-facing camera with a much worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs more money than Asus ZenFone 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone 4. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Asus ZenFone 4, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
