The HTC One M9 has a general score of 77.7, which is way better than Asus ZenFone 5's 59.2 global score. HTC One M9's design is newer and just a little bit thinner than Asus ZenFone 5's, but it is also just a bit heavier. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but HTC One M9 has a newer 5.0 version and Asus ZenFone 5 has Android 4.4, giving lots of additional features and better performance.
The HTC One M9 features a better performing processing unit than Asus ZenFone 5, because it has an additional graphics processing unit, 6 more 2 gigahertz cores, a 64 bits processor and more RAM memory. The HTC One M9 features a more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone 5, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the HTC One M9 also has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080px and more pixels per inch in the screen.
HTC One M9 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus ZenFone 5, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB. HTC One M9 takes much better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
HTC One M9 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 5, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity.
HTC One M9 is a little more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
