Galaxy S9 has a score of 83.3, which is better than the Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL)'s 74.5 global score. Although the Galaxy S9 and Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) were released only 2 months apart, the Galaxy S9 design is just a bit lighter but also a bit thicker. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a slightly better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a greater screen density.
Galaxy S9 features a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) features a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy S9 takes a bit better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a 12 megapixels back camera and a same size sensor, the Galaxy S9 also has a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
