Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5Q's general score of 72.6. Huawei Mate 8 is a just a bit heavier cellphone than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, but both have the same thickness. Asus ZenFone 5Q has a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also has a just a little higher number of pixels in each display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM.
The Huawei Mate 8 features superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Asus ZenFone 5Q takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low light images and video, and they both have a back facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone 5Q. If you want to save some money, you can get the Asus ZenFone 5Q, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
