Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5Q's general score of 72.6. The Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM.
The Huawei Mate 8 features superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Asus ZenFone 5Q takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low light images and video, and they both have a back facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone 5Q. If you want to save some money, you can get the Asus ZenFone 5Q, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
