Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, getting a 78.7 score against 72.6. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an older and a little heavier device than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, but Huawei managed to build it a bit thinner anyway. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little bit better display than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit better performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with longer battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh. Asus ZenFone 5Q features a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a F2.2 aperture and the same video frame rates, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also has a back camera with way more megapixels.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone 5Q. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone 5Q, giving up a couple features and specifications.
