Moto Z2 Play is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 5Q, with a general score of 77.4 against 72.6. Moto Z2 Play is an older cellphone than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, but Motorola made it incredibly thinner and lighter anyway. The Asus ZenFone 5Q counts with a bit better screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little greater pixel density, a bit bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
Moto Z2 Play's memory to store more apps and games is just as good as Asus ZenFone 5Q's one, both have equal internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play counts with a processing unit that's very similar to the Asus ZenFone 5Q one, they have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
Asus ZenFone 5Q features just a bit longer battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity. Asus ZenFone 5Q features a little bit better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a way smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher 16 MP resolution.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Moto Z2 Play is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
