Comparison review
Galaxy A30 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 5Q's 72.6 score. Even though Galaxy A30 and the Asus ZenFone 5Q were only released with a couple of months difference, Galaxy A30 is a little thinner and just a little lighter. Asus ZenFone 5Q counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A30, although it has a bit smaller display, a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A30. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Asus ZenFone 5Q shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A30, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photos and videos in low-light environments, and they both have a 16 MP camera, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A30, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy A30 features superior battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
