Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is better than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, with a general score of 80.4 against 72.6. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's body has the same thickness than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, but it is just a bit lighter. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little sharper display than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q has a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a lot smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also counts with a lot higher 16 megapixels resolution back camera.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q has a little better battery life than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone 5Q. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Asus ZenFone 5Q, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
