Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is better than Asus ZenFone 5Q, having an 82.2 score against 72.6. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably thicker and notably heavier device than Asus ZenFone 5Q. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixel density and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. Asus ZenFone 5Q has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 5Q also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium takes clearer videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a better resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture for better low-light images.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit superior battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone 5Q. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Asus ZenFone 5Q, giving up some specs and features.
