Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, having a 79.8 score against 72.6. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium construction has the same thickness than the Asus ZenFone 5Q, but it is just a little bit heavier. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better screen than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a lot greater number of pixels per inch in the screen.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because although it has less RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Xperia Z5 Premium shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and video in low light situations and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.

Asus ZenFone 5Q features much more storage to install games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xperia Z5 Premium features just a bit better battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has a 3430mAh battery size.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone 5Q. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Asus ZenFone 5Q, letting go some specifications.
