Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is much better than Asus ZenFone 5Q's 72.6 score. Even though Xiaomi Mi 8 and Asus ZenFone 5Q were released with only a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is a little thinner but also just a little bit heavier. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have a better pixel number in each inch of screen, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2248 resolution and a bit larger display.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little faster processing unit than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and videos.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q counts with more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
