Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 5Q, getting a general score of 76 against 72.6. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's construction is just a little lighter and a bit thinner than Asus ZenFone 5Q, despite of the fact that it was released just a bit further than a year before. The Asus ZenFone 5Q features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with more cores.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a bit bigger screen, a bit higher 1080 x 2160px resolution and a little bit higher amount of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Asus ZenFone 5Q captures better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a worse (4K) video definition, a lot worse resolution back-facing camera and a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in low-light environments.
The Asus ZenFone 5Q has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5Q, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone 5Q, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone 5Q. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Asus ZenFone 5Q, giving up some features and specs.
