Comparison review
Google Pixel 3 is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z, having a global score of 80 against 75.3. Google Pixel 3's body is somewhat lighter but just a little thicker than Asus ZenFone 5z, and they were released only 4 months apart. Asus ZenFone 5z features a bit better display than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a little bit lower number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2246 resolution and a bit larger display.
Asus ZenFone 5z features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a little bit better performance than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a bit better battery duration than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 3300mAh battery size instead of 2915mAh. Google Pixel 3 captures a lot better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, they both have a F1.8 aperture, a same size sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Google Pixel 3 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it an obvious call.
