Comparison review
HTC U Ultra is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, having a 77 score against 75.3. Although it's the best phone we compare here, HTC U Ultra is an older, a bit heavier and just a bit thicker phone than the Asus ZenFone 5z. The HTC U Ultra and Asus ZenFone 5z both count with quite similar screens, because although the HTC U Ultra has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better screen pixel density.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a bit more powerful CPU than HTC U Ultra, because it has a larger number of cores and 4 GB more RAM. HTC U Ultra takes much better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same size aperture, the HTC U Ultra also counts with a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has 192 GB more internal storage. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus ZenFone 5z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone 5z. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Asus ZenFone 5z, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
