Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 has a score of 84, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's general score of 75.3. The Huawei Mate 30 design is newer than Asus ZenFone 5z's, but it's somewhat heavier and just a little thicker. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2246px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels in each display inch.
Huawei Mate 30's processing unit is just as good as the Asus ZenFone 5z one, both of them have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a much better storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Huawei Mate 30 shoots greater photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a much larger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality. Huawei Mate 30 features better battery life than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
