Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 5G has a general score of 87.4, which is better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 overall score. Although Huawei Mate 30 5G is newer than Asus ZenFone 5z, it is a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Asus ZenFone 5z has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2246 and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater screen density.
Huawei Mate 30 5G's processor is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 5z one, both of them have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM. The Huawei Mate 30 5G takes way better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and a same size aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also has a way bigger sensor capturing lot better quality videos and pictures.
Asus ZenFone 5z has a much greater memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB more internal memory. Huawei Mate 30 5G features superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 27% greater battery size.
