Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is much better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, having an 89.1 score against 75.3. The Huawei Mate X2 body is way newer, but noticeably heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Asus ZenFone 5z. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate X2, although it has a way smaller screen, a bit less pixels per display inch and a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2246px.
The Asus ZenFone 5z features much more memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate X2 has a little faster processing unit than Asus ZenFone 5z. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
Huawei Mate X2 has a greater camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light captures, they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with superior battery life than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5z, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone 5z. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus ZenFone 5z, resigning some specs and features.
