Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is better than Asus ZenFone 5z, with an 88.2 score against 75.3. Although Huawei P40 Pro is newer than the Asus ZenFone 5z, it is thicker and extremely heavier. The Huawei P40 Pro and Asus ZenFone 5z both feature quite similar CPUs, both have 8 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ZenFone 5z features a little sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a quite smaller display, a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2246px and a quite worse pixel density. The Asus ZenFone 5z features a much better memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots a lot better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a way bigger sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality.
The Huawei P40 Pro features greater battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
