Comparison review
The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 general score. The LG Velvet construction is newer than the Asus ZenFone 5z's, but it's just a bit heavier and just a little thicker. The Asus ZenFone 5z features just a bit better hardware performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a bit better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater screen pixel density. The LG Velvet has a lot better camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution and a same size aperture, the LG Velvet also counts with a much larger camera sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a better memory for apps and games than LG Velvet, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has 256 GB internal memory. The LG Velvet features superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the LG Velvet is also by far the cheapest.
