Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, getting a overall score of 85.3 against 75.3. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a way newer and thinner cellphone than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but it's also extremely heavier. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a just a bit lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1892 x 2688, a lot brighter display and a really bigger screen.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a way bigger storage for applications and games than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a processor that is very similar to the processor in Asus ZenFone 5z, both have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 costs a little more money than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
