The Moto Z2 Play has a score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 global score. Moto Z2 Play's design is incredibly thinner and lighter than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it was released just 12 months before. Asus ZenFone 5z features a slightly better display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a slightly higher 1080 x 2246px resolution and a little higher pixel density.
The Asus ZenFone 5z has a bit more powerful processor than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Moto Z2 Play captures much better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Moto Z2 Play also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has more internal storage capacity. Asus ZenFone 5z has a little better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Moto Z2 Play is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
