Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 UW is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, getting a 75.9 score against 75.3. OnePlus 8 UW's design is newer, but just a little thicker and a little bit heavier than Asus ZenFone 5z. OnePlus 8 UW's processing unit is very similar to Asus ZenFone 5z's processor, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a little more vivid display than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little bit larger display, a just a bit greater pixels quantity per inch of screen and way more brightness. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.
OnePlus 8 UW takes way better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a much larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors. OnePlus 8 UW features superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone 5z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone 5z. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy OnePlus 8 UW, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Asus ZenFone 5z, letting go some features and specs.
