Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 5z, getting a global score of 79.6 against 75.3. Samsung Galaxy A40's design is newer and somewhat lighter, but also just a little thicker than the Asus ZenFone 5z. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a bit worse display density and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels, it also counts with a bit larger display.
Asus ZenFone 5z features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy A40 captures much better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and images and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
Asus ZenFone 5z features just a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
