Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, getting a global score of 80.8 against 75.3. The Galaxy S5 design is lighter than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it is a little thicker and was released 4 years before. Asus ZenFone 5z features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a sharper display than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels number in each screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a greater camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has lower video frame rate, a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting images and video in low-light environments and a tinier sensor capturing less light and washed colors, they both have the same (4K) video definition.
