Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is much better than Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 general score. Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Asus ZenFone 5z, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a brighter display than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per inch of display.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better CPU than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits processor.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with greater battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 27% bigger battery size. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge shoots much better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has a smaller camera sensor shooting worse quality photos and videos and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos and video, they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Galaxy S6 Edge is a lot more expensive than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
