Comparison review
Xperia 1 II has a score of 91, which is much better than Asus ZenFone 5z's global score of 75.3. The Xperia 1 II is a newer cellphone than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it is a bit thicker and a little heavier. The Xperia 1 II counts with a little sharper screen than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a little bigger screen, a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Asus ZenFone 5z and Sony Xperia 1 II both have extremely similar processing units, they have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. The Asus ZenFone 5z features a slightly bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia 1 II, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Xperia 1 II features a very superior camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia 1 II also has a lot larger back camera sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low light environments.
Sony Xperia 1 II has superior battery life than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 21 percent more battery size.
