Sony Xperia 5 II is much better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, with an 87.2 score against 75.3. Sony Xperia 5 II's design is notably newer and a little bit lighter, but also just a little thicker than Asus ZenFone 5z. Xperia 5 II's processing unit is very similar to Asus ZenFone 5z's processor, they have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM.
Asus ZenFone 5z has a little bit better looking display than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels amount per inch of display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2246, it also counts with a little bigger display. The Xperia 5 II features a much better camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia 5 II also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited environments, better video frame rates and a way larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Asus ZenFone 5z features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia 5 II, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal memory. Xperia 5 II counts with greater battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
Xperia 5 II costs a lot more money than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
