Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, getting an 82.2 score against 75.3. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a much heavier and notably thicker device than Asus ZenFone 5z. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much sharper screen than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with way more brightness, a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a way higher count of pixels per inch of display.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a processor that is very similar to the CPU in Asus ZenFone 5z, and although the Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xperia XZ2 Premium takes much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution and the same diafragm aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus ZenFone 5z, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone 5z. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some dollars and get the Asus ZenFone 5z, resigning some features and specs.
