Comparison review
The Xperia XZs has a score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's global score of 75.3. Xperia XZs is an older and a bit thicker phone than Asus ZenFone 5z, but Sony managed to make it just a little bit lighter anyway. Asus ZenFone 5z features a bit better processing power than Xperia XZs, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and faster).
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with just a bit better screen than Xperia XZs, because although it has a quite inferior number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution and a larger display. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Xperia XZs, because it has 224 GB more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Sony Xperia XZs shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with a bigger sensor and higher 960 fps video frame rates.
The Asus ZenFone 5z features just a bit longer battery life than Xperia XZs, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 2900mAh.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus ZenFone 5z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone 5z. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia XZs, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone 5z, letting go some specs and features.
