Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has an overall score of 77.7, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z's general score of 75.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite body has the same thickness than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but it is just a little bit heavier. Asus ZenFone 5z features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 2246 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a way better camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and/or video in low light environments, they both have a same size camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Asus ZenFone 5z has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features just a little better battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity.
