Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a global score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 5z's 75.3 score. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a notably heavier phone than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but both are 0.3inches thick. Asus ZenFone 5z has a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2246 resolution and a just a bit better display density.
Asus ZenFone 5z features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a really longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 61 percent bigger battery size. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a very superior camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light captures and videos, worse video frame rate and a tinier sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also by far the cheapest, making it an easy decision.
