Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, having an 81.2 score against 75.3. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's design has the same thickness than Asus ZenFone 5z, but it's heavier. Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a higher amount of RAM.
Asus ZenFone 5z features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same number of pixels in each display inch, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a quite better 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution and a little bit bigger screen. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 captures way better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, a tinier camera aperture and a smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, they both have the same (4K) video quality.
The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a little better battery performance than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is more expensive than Asus ZenFone 5z, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
